We loved the baby nap time their swings - very sweet image. They get to fall asleep in my room relaxing with a very good for us. When they are fussy time, the change is the place - and far less expensive than the vehicles that long! When I was at home and needed to take a shower or doing laundry while my son was awake, I was a baby swing lifesaver. (I am also a big fan of baby rocking chair - excellent baby shower gift.)

Cradle my baby is my "extra pair" pair of hands while I was home. Swaying movements of the baby will calm soothing or consoling a son I am, depending on what they need at the time.

Must-have baby swing features:

Stability: Many basic and low center of gravity that should be so you will not swing tip over if the baby manages to lean too far in one direction.

Seat belt: again, and that should be 5-point harness is the best. Just like in the car seat, either in a new slide from the seat belt system adequate.

Batteries Vs. Wind-Up: Wind-up compellingly usually more expensive, but the mechanism is very noisy winding us, we finally sold the wind-up and sprang to the battery. Battery operated baby swings operate more easily and more quickly and usually features the music to match the baby's mood.

Speed: Sometimes, your baby will be rocked as careful, sometimes - especially when fussy - as he may be a bit more determined swing. I'd advise getting at least some of the swing speed (you do not need much!)

Sounds: your baby may have the option of music. If your baby play swing music, make sure there are volume control and switch off! Son, I do not go to the music, sound, choose a house, or no way. If you do not play rock music, make sure you can handle repetition.

Support: If you will be using the new born baby's cradle with your (and mine loved it), make sure you have a newborn lying position. Your newborn can not hold up his head, he can not avoid slouching forward - surely need hope. You will be very old baby when they sleep, too! Make sure you can easily reach recline mechanism, so that you can lean on the seat after your baby falls asleep.

Open the Top: An open top baby swing allows you to lift your baby out without bumping his head on the bar. Syukur someone think about it!

Flip-Out Tray: A-fold or fold-up tray is another must-have feature! You can remove your baby with care and reduce the chance of any of the baby's feet Scraping the tray.

Toy Bar: Toy bar and mobiles, lights, sound and music all offer ways to help keep baby entertained! Both boys are really interested in them, though. They like their familiar toys in the swing with them, their favorite blankie or not. I usually remove the toys so that they can see what is happening around them.

Portability: If you can take a swing with you is important, look for portable swing. They are full size but the swings in a compact body.

We refuse to get a baby swing for a bit, I believe that "cheating" ... I think that every comfort is cheating! Yeah, a little nuts! Finally I get too tired to keep the guilty CHARADE. After I had my swing and see how much the boys enjoyed it, swinging the infant must be made to have a list.
